If you have any questions about your Honda tires, the experts here at Heritage Honda Westminster can answer them. First check out our FAQ to see if we already have the answers you've been looking for!

What Do I Do When the Tire Pressure Light Comes On?

This comes on when one or more of your tires isn't properly inflated. If your vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system, it may give you the exact tire that is triggering the warning light. We recommend filling up at your earliest convenience.

What Type of Tires Should I Buy for My Honda Car?

Your new Honda car can use tires from a variety of brands, including Bridgestone and Goodyear. Our staff can also help you find the proper type, such as winter tires or performance tires.

Should I Service My Tires for the Winter?

The winter can be rough on your tires, which is why scheduling a Honda service appointment before it gets cold and snowy is always recommended. Our factory-trained mechanics will check out your tires and make sure they're ready for the season.

Why Does My Tire Pressure Go Down in Winter?

The cold air and low temperatures can cause your tires to lose pressure, which is why you should have a tire pressure gauge of your own stowed away in your car. Check your tire pressure occasionally and always make sure that your tires are properly inflated before a long drive.

Why Are Tire Rotations Important?

A tire rotation involves the removal of your tires and placing them back on your vehicle in different positions. It helps your tires wear down at a more even rate, and this is especially important for front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive cars that might wear down the front or rear tires faster than the other ones.

What Is the “Penny Test?”

The Penny Test can let you know when it's time to replace your tires. Place a penny upside-down in your tire tread. If you can see the top of Abraham Lincoln's head, the tread depth is too shallow and you need new tires that can offer the traction you need to stay safe on the road.
