Late last month, Honda announced that the new 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid would be released later this spring. The new hybrid sedan will feature a more powerful and efficient second-generation powertrain as well new standard safety and tech features that are sure to impress local Maryland drivers. The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will feature a next-generation two-motor hybrid powertrain that has the highest EPA fuel economy rating of any midsize hybrid sedan while also delivering the most performance. The powerful and refined hybrid 2.0-liter i-VTEC powertrain will offer a combined output of 212 total combined horsepower.

It also features an increase in standard and available safety features and equipment. New safety features will include a wide-angle rearview camera and the Honda Sensing system with includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning. Available tech and convenience features include remote engine start, a 7-inch display touchscreen with smartphone app integration, heated seats, and front and rear parking sensors.
